Tajamul Islam is the first world kickboxing champion (under 19 years catagory) from Jammu-Kashmir's Bandipore. She created history by clinching the gold medal in the sub-junior category at the World Kickboxing Championship in Italy. She has won a total of six games during the five-day long championship, in which 90 countries participated.
